FAQ - Phoenix Signature Kitchen


I have certain food allergies and would also prefer to omit some ingredients (no liver, no kidney, no snow peas, etc). Is that possible?

Just let us know before ordering about your food allergies and food preference to see if we are able to accommodate your request. We will try our best to do so but please understand that sometimes it is not possible on our end.

Can I have double portion sizes so that my husband can share the same food as me?

Of course you can. Just ask us for the extra costs involved. 

Do you have a vegetarian option?

Yes we do! 

Is your confinement menu suitable and beneficial if I have just had a miscarriage or a c-section delivery?

Yes, our confinement menu is suitable for mothers whom have had a miscarriage or a c-section delivery. Please let us know when making your booking so that we can adjust your menu with more appropriate ingredients for you.

Do you have packages for more than 28 days?

Yes we do. Please get in touch with us and we'll prepare a quotation for you.

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, breakfast delivery is between 7:15am to 8:30am and comes with an added cost.


Is delivery free of charge?

If you're located in our coverage area, there is no additional charge for delivery.

Which areas are entitled for free delivery?

Kepong, Sentul, Gombak, Batu Caves, Sungei Buloh, Setiawangsa, Wangsa Maju, Ampang, Pandan Indah, KL City Centre, Bangsar, Brickfields, Mont Kiara, Hartamas, Damansara, TTDI, Taman Desa, OUG, Old Klang Road, Sri Petaling, Cheras, Taman Connaught, Kajang, Bangi, Serdang, Balakong, Seri Kembangan, Puchong, Subang, Sunway, Taipan, Petaling Jaya, Desa Park City, Jinjang, Selayang

What if my area is not listed?

If your area is not listed above, please get in touch with us and we'll let you know if we're able to deliver to your area. Delivery charges may apply.

How many times a day do you deliver?

It depends on your preference. We have 2 delivery options. 

a) Receive all meals (lunch, afternoon tea & dinner) between 11:00am to 1:00pm (Delivery window A)

b*) Receive lunch & afternoon tea between 11:00am to 1:00pm (Delivery window A) and dinner between 4:00pm to 6:30pm (Delivery window B)

What time will my food arrive?

As much as we want to feed our hungry mothers as soon as we can, we can only promise that you will receive your food within the time frame of our respective delivery windows, weather permitting. We are unable to give you a fixed timing nor are you allowed to select a specific time for delivery.  

What if my delivery is late?

We try to ensure none of our deliveries are late. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, we may be late at times due to adverse weather conditions or unexpected or unforeseen events. We apologize in advance.

Can I have my meals delivered to a different address on just certain days?

Sure we'd be happy to accommodate your request. Delivery charges may apply if the new address is outside our coverage area.

What containers do you use when delivering the food?

We use food-grade BFA free airtight glass/ plastic containers for our dishes and thermal vacuum stainless steel flasks for our herbal soups and red dates drink. These containers and thermal flasks are then put in a thermal bag and delivered to your doorstep.

Do you deliver everyday?

Yes, we deliver all year round, weekends and public holidays included. 


How far in advance do I need to book your services?

We advise mothers to book as soon as they can as our slots are limited and we can’t guarantee a slot for their EDD without a confirmed booking (with payment of deposit). We limit the number of bookings we accept in every month to ensure that there is no compromise in quality for our current bookings. 

How do I make a booking?

To confirm your booking, our standard deposit of RM500 is required with the remaining payable the day before you want delivery to start. With a confirmed booking, we will reserve a slot for you and guarantee delivery of your chosen package. Just let us know a couple of day in advance or latest by 12 noon the day before you want delivery to start.

What form of payment do you accept?

We only accept bank deposits and internet transfers to our company account. All payments, initial deposit and balance payment, is to be made via an instant transfer. Please send all payment receipts to sales@confinementfood.my

Do you accept last minute bookings?

If we still have slots available, of course! If the date of first food delivery is 7 days or less from the time of booking, full payment of your chosen package is required when making the booking.

My package is about to end soon. How do I extend my delivery service?

Comments like these really make our day. Just get in touch with us and we'll advise you on how you can extend your package.


Can I cancel/ postpone delivery?

You can provided you let us know by 12 noon the day before the affected date. If not, the day is forfeited from your package. 

I may not be in or contactable during the delivery window(s).

Please make prior arrangements with us or your building management if you won't be in during the delivery windows. If our rider can't contact you and is unable to deliver the food to you, the meal will be forfeited or there will be a re-delivery fee of RM30 at a later time on the same day.

Swapping of bags and containers.

Our rider will swap bags and containers with you on a daily basis. If you won't be home and prior arrangements have been made with us or your building management, it is necessary to leave the previous day's bags and containers at a place where our rider can collect them.

Must I wash the containers and thermal flasks?

That's not necessary. Spend your time with your little one and leave the washing to us :)
