Confinement · Vegetarian
The confinement month, cooked entirely vegetarian.
The same daily care and staged programme as our Confinement Meals, cooked entirely meat-free, the way you've always eaten.
Phoenix Signature Kitchen delivers freshly cooked vegetarian confinement meals across KL and the Klang Valley. A day includes lunch and dinner. Each with soup, a main, a vegetable and whole-grain rice, plus an afternoon dessert. We confirm your vegetarian preference when you book: lacto-ovo by default, or fully vegan on request. Programmes run 7, 14, 21 or 28 days.
How it works
What does “vegetarian” mean at Phoenix?
- We confirm it when you book
- Your vegetarian preference is agreed with us before your deliveries begin.
- Lacto-ovo by default
- The default menu includes egg, dairy and may use soy meat for protein and texture.
- Adjusted on request
- Fully vegan (no egg or dairy), no garlic or onion, no soy meat or no cooking alcohol. Just tell us before you order.
- Some dishes need a heads-up
- A few dishes are cooked with a little rice wine and include soy meat by default. Let us know beforehand and we adjust where possible.
Six stages · seven days each
The same staged care, week by week.
The six stages follow the traditional confinement framework. Each week's menu shifts with the stage. The 28-day programme covers Stages A–D; Extended Confinement continues with Stages E and F.
- Stage A
排Clear & Release
Days 1–7
The first week is for clearing. This is the traditional stage for lochia's natural release, while the body settles peacefully.
- Stage B
调Recondition
Days 8–14
Digestion first. This is the traditional stage for settling the stomach, so the body can absorb before the tonic weeks begin.
- Stage C
补Replenish
Days 15–21
The tonic weeks. Qi-and-blood vegetarian soups rebuild what birth drew down, from the liver and kidneys to muscles and joints.
- Stage D
养Nourish
Days 22–28
Sustained nourishment for energy, complexion and milk supply through the later weeks.
Extended Confinement
Beyond the first 28 days
Extended Confinement continues the vegetarian programme through two further seven-day stages.
- Stage E
固Strengthen & Stabilise
Days 29–35
Consolidating stage. Strengthening the spleen and stomach, rebuilding stamina for the weeks back on your feet.
- Stage F
塑Restore & Reshape
Days 36–42
The turn back toward everyday life. This stage focuses on easing bloating, supporting complexion and body composition.

Preferences
What can you leave out or change?
Every mother eats differently, and we'd rather ask than assume. Before you order, tell us if you'd like fully vegan (no egg or dairy), no garlic and onion, no soy meat or no cooking alcohol. We adjust where it's operationally possible. Our savoury dishes are cooked with no added sugar, with whole-grain rice throughout. The afternoon dessert is the one sweet moment of the day.
